So I'm actually updating. School has been insane. Majorly. I've been involved with the play, a show called Happy Daze, that was a lot of fun. When that ended I was severly depressed and streesed out with the built up schoolwork, and with the ending of my relationship with David. Yeah, he dumped me.

I've told everyone the story, how he thought we should just be friends, that he wanted to keep me as a friend, enough that it didn't matter if we were dating. That's noble. Everyone told me that, but I'm not quite over him. The story that no one knows was that I'd been talking to my best friend for a long time about the concept of him and i dating long distance. He's in college, and I'm stuck here. But he and i both agreed that it was jsut the concept, I wouldn't leave David for him. I would be with David until our relationship ended of it's own accord. A week after David broke up with me, I agreed to a long distance relationship with my best friend. I've been in love with him since this summer, when we became so close. One day, I'll write it in a story.

Speaking of writing, I'm done some writing recently. Poetry, mostly. I've been in a poetry kind of mood since i got chosen for the schoolwide competition for Poetry Out Loud. I had to do two poems in front of the entire school. i did Two Guitars by Victor Hernadez Cruz and Love Is The Thing by Emily Dickinson. More than halfway through my first poem, the Dickinson poem, I had a panic attack and stopped being able to speak. Anyways, I wrote two poem in the last week or so, and I uploaded one. The second one was a short thing I haven't uploaded yet.

Also recently, was my choral ajudication. We did three pieces, an arrangement of Kyrie for our warm up, We Are, and a portugese piece called Muie Rendera. We got a two overall, which made us sad. It's a scale of one to five, one being the best, and five being... just stop trying. Everyone was like, a two is good, a two is good, but I don't feel like a two is urbana quality. But i guess that's just me. The sad thing is, we deserved a two. I know we did.

I can't wait for Christmas break. I'm going to spend as much time as possible wtih my love. hopefully this one will last longer than the others, since we wre friends first, and for so long before we started dating. Oh, and we started our Christmas music in choir, Down, Down the Chimney, which is a fun fifties kind of carol, and the Hallejuiah Chorus, from the Messah. The Halejuiah Chorus is a tradition at my high school, we sing it every year. And Allumni are invited to come back and sing with us. I'm hoping my choir friends from last year come back.


To Do List:
Actually do my physics homework. Really.
Wait patiently for them to announce the musical. (Hopefully Monday)
Stop playing Spore for hours at a time
look over all music being sung at our choral concert in december
Practice dance steps for my dance recital in january
